And because the product is very public there is huge pressure to perform and perform well. The worsts coworkers are in ZeniMax, lots of people who want to pull you down to do the worst they possibly can."

Former Employee - Infrastructure Manager says

"Management is arrogant, disrespectful, abusive. Flat out the biggest bunch of jerks you could ever encounter."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"-#MeToo / Lawsuit-worthy behavior by senior management -Upper management is unethical and unproffesional -Bonuses are completely arbitrary -Donald Trump's brother is on the board for christsakes -They pit employees against each other"

Former Employee - Finance Manager says

"Like high school with cliques, if you are not “in” then you are “out” Very secretive due to nature of gaming business Lack of communication Dismissive of forward thinking"

Former Employee - ZeniMax HQ Staff says

"Horrible IT systems. Management paralyzed by bad data, fear of keeping their jobs and general incompetence. Some of the employees in HR are unethical, senior management cannot be trusted, and micro managers are really annoying. Employee benefits are not competitive, time off is extremely limited (10 days), no sick days, and work hours are greater than nine hours a day. Personalities and egos keep others from doing their job in a healthy and productive matter."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Very Corporate, someone is watching your every move and complains if they don't like what they see, low pay with little chance of growth, poor management, lots of egos, not a friendly workplace, not understanding of personal problems, lack of teamwork, cliques, small time off pool"

Current Employee - Quality Assurance says

"Everything else at this place"

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"If you want to see any growth, you have to hope that someone dies."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"=Throw you in the deep end very quickly -If you take this job, have a VERY good understanding of everything requested of you in the requirements section of the listing, because it WILL NOT be explained to you in any fashion. -Very sink or swim approach (advice for employees: Swallow your pride and ask questions, because if you don't they will assume you are worthless and axe you without warning) =Some management holds unrealistic expectations =Generous access rights =From an IT perspective, excessively confusing"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"- time off - only 10 days - no sick leave - old school mentality of "face time" - they are watching when you are at work and not - expectation is that you are at work at least 10 hr/day - click-ey - if management doesn't like you your bonus will be affected - upper management is borderline offensive and rude - get ready to be yelled at - no way to move up - you'll be in your current role until the guy above you leaves"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"The layoffs began six months after the project shipped- and we were suddenly escorted to the door. No warning, and some of the laid off employees had worked there for six years. And a week after our employment ended, our game accounts were terminated and our names were scrubbed from the credits. I spent five years very devoted to making the game the best it could be, and they rewarded that devotion with nothing more than a form letter."

QA Game Tester (Current Employee) says

"The work can be fun, but the environment, management and mentality is toxic. Also, there are very few opportunities for advancement. I have learned a lot about the gaming industry and how it really works."

Accounting Manager (Former Employee) says

"One of the strangest work environments I have ever worked in, lots of cliques, lack of communication, and a definite "in" club and just the "rest" of the people."

Anonymous mid-level employee (Former Employee) says

"Organization provides a fun culture for all generations but struggles to stay competitive (e.g. new ideas, compensation, career development). Company ranks "loyalty" from their employees as highest employee contribution. In return, tenured employees tend to be biggest stakeholders despite sound decision-making. Many close colleagues who are demonstrated high performers were pigeonholed, missing rightful opportunities for growth and advancement in their careers (leading to their resignations and onward to competitive/better options). Promotions and developmental opportunities do not tend to be based on an across-the-board objective assessment or rationale. While the organization fosters a "family-oriented" culture, sometimes you have to fly the thorny nest and soar to greater heights. The occasional happy hour wasn't bad, either.Cafe, gym, and casual dress codeProfessional development, career advancement, and compensation"

Support Game agent (Former Employee) says

"Great work atmosphere with a good opportunity to develop Customer Relationship skills."

Sam G says

"scammers. they sell you a game you cant play. Lag everyday bad servers and bad support. Avoid It."

Christopher says

"The manifestation of greed"

Private Private says

"Beware this company will scam you if you play their games. Double charge and overcharge very common and zero customer service. Players Beware"

Alex says

"Horrific costumer support, I bought a game directly from them, they sent me the wrong code with which I could NOT activate the game. After a week I have heard nothing from them. At this point I can safely say they stole my money."

Anthoni Johnson says

"Terrible Company greedy, all they care about is the money, you the customer are nothing to them wait until they get your money and sell you horrible products."
